His approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in practical strategies.
Josh Says…
“You will be welcomed into an environment that is casual, calm, and peaceful. I do my best to make you feel at home. I’m very laid back, but I can still be direct when needed. My role is to help you establish peace and build healthier habits, and I will always advocate for you. My intention is for you to feel supported, safe, and grounded from the moment you walk in.
When it comes to practicing therapy, I lean heavily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Existentialism. I weave therapeutic approaches together while incorporating grounding skills, somatic interventions, and talk therapy. My goal is to get to the root of what’s going on and determine how best to support your healing in a thoughtful, intentional way.”
If you’re ready to reclaim your voice, receive real advocacy, and begin your healing journey toward clarity and joy, I’m here to support you. Book now to get started!
Josh's Modalities
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps individuals identify and change unhelpful thought and behavior patterns. It supports practical skills for managing emotions, challenges, and everyday stress.
Person-Centered Therapy
Person-centered therapy provides a supportive, nonjudgmental space guided by empathy and trust. It empowers individuals to access their own insight, growth, and healing.
Existential Therapy
Existential therapy explores meaning, purpose, and personal responsibility in life. It helps individuals navigate uncertainty, values, and authentic choice.
Somatic Interventions
Somatic interventions focus on the mind–body connection to support healing and regulation. They help individuals release stored stress, build body awareness, and restore balance.
Mindfulness-Based Techniques
Mindfulness-based techniques cultivate present-moment awareness and emotional regulation. They support stress reduction, clarity, and a more grounded response to life’s challenges.
Trauma-Informed Care
Trauma-informed care recognizes the impact of trauma and prioritizes safety, trust, and empowerment. It supports healing through compassionate, respectful, and collaborative practices.
Grounding Skills
Grounding skills help individuals feel present, stable, and connected in the moment. They are practical tools for calming the nervous system and managing stress or overwhelm.
Talk Therapy
Talk therapy provides a safe space to explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences through conversation. It supports insight, emotional relief, and personal growth.
