Insurance and Payment Options
Rock City Counseling accepts most major insurance carriers. Coverage varies by plan, so we encourage clients to contact their insurance provider directly to confirm mental-health benefits before scheduling. Our administrative team can also assist with basic verification questions as part of the intake process.
We currently accept these major insurance carriers:
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Ambetter
- QualChoice
- UnitedHealthcare
- UMR
- Cigna
- Aetna
- Medicare
- Arkansas Medicaid (standard plans only – see PASSE note below)
If your insurance is not listed, you may still be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement. We can provide a superbill upon request so you can submit claims directly to your insurance carrier.
Important Medicaid Information (PASSE Plans)
Please note that we do not accept PASSE Medicaid plans (e.g., Empower, Summit, Arkansas Total Care) at this time. These plans require separate credentialing and we are not contracted with PASSE organizations.
Clients with PASSE coverage are welcome to use self-pay options.
Self–Pay Options
We also offer self-pay options for clients who prefer not to use insurance or whose plans do not cover certain services. Some specialized modalities (such as Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Theta Chamber sessions, and wellness services) may not be billable through insurance and are available at self-pay rates.
Pricing and Fees
Intake Sessions (Therapy/Medication): (60 mins) – $315
Individual therapy session: (60 minutes) – $300
Other Fees
Court Appearance
$200 per hour plus mileage fees for distances beyond 20 miles from the clinic.
We offer telephone and online therapy. If not covered by your insurance, the full rate of $300 per session is your responsibility.
Court-Related Services
We do not conduct evaluations for custody, visitation, or forensic matters. Consequently, we are unable to provide testimony or reports regarding custody, visitation, or parental fitness in legal or administrative proceedings.
If an attorney contacts us regarding your treatment or a legal matter you’re involved in:
- A flat rate of $1,500 is charged to initiate these additional services, with an additional $200 per hour for preparation and attendance at legal proceedings or court-related services.
- Charges for court-related services are not covered by insurance.
- These services encompass discussions with attorneys, document preparation, travel to court, depositions, and court appearances.
- Costs incurred while responding to attorneys, including consultation fees or representation by our attorneys, may be billed separately.
- If we’re not given a 72-hour notice of a court date, additional charges of $200 per rescheduled appointment may apply to accommodate the court appearance.
